Silion Zelf
La historia de Silion Zelf es muy corta y (hasta ahora) sucinta: a principios del 2009, luego de varios años al frente de S.O.S., su vieja fomación de Jazz Fusión (www.myspace.com/sosfusion), Fernando Refay comenzó una búsqueda de músicos para poder llevar a cabo su viejo sueño de formar una verdadera banda de Rock Progresivo que fusione tanto elementos del Pop, como el Metal, el Jazz, y la Música Clásica. Fue así que conoció ciberneticamente al baterista Gabriel Renzi con quien rápidamente comenzaron a juntarse para definir lo que sería el sonido que buscaban; y un tiempo después se sumó el bajista/flautista/guitarrista negado, Cristian Arone. Todavía faltaban miembros en ese entonces, pero no tardaron en llegar: Agustín Perez Santangelo en las guitarras (¡que eran tan necesarias!) y David Minian en la voz principal redondearon la formación. Silion Zelf's history is both brief and (so far) short-lived: at the beginning of 2009, and after some years fronting S.O.S., his old-time Jazz Fusion band (www.myspace.com/sosfusion), Fernando Refay began searching for musicians to make his dream of forming a Progressive Rock band come true, a band which would mix elements from Pop, Metal, Jazz, and Classical Music. It was thus that he met drummer Gabriel Renzi on the Web, and they started holding out meeting to define the sound they were looking for; some time later bassist/flutist/self-denied guitarrist Cristian Arone joined them. Still some members were missing, but they shortly came: Agustin Perez Santangelo in much-needed guitars and David Minian as lead singer completed the formation. Silion Zelf continue to shape their sound as hours go by and have finished the recording of their first demo CD showing the richness of their music and compositions.
